Dr. Chayanard Phukhamsakda, Center of Excellence in Fungal Research, MFU,
on being awarded the prestigious
Humboldt Research Fellowship for Experienced Researchers
by the Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, Germany.
This highly competitive fellowship is granted in recognition of Dr. Phukhamsakda’s outstanding scientific contributions and academic achievements. The fellowship supports an 18-month research stay at a host institution in Germany.
As part of the fellowship package:
Dr. Phukhamsakda has also been awarded a 2-month German language scholarship, scheduled to begin on August 4, 2025
The research fellowship will officially commence on October 1, 2025, following the completion of the language program
The program offers opportunities to build international research collaborations and expand academic networks through the global Humboldt community
The Alexander von Humboldt Foundation, established in 1953, has supported over 31,000 researchers worldwide, aiming to foster academic excellence and international cooperation. Its fellowships are among the most respected research grants in Europe.
This achievement is not only a personal milestone for Dr. Chayanard Phukhamsakda, but also brings pride to Mae Fah Luang University by reinforcing its role in global scientific collaboration and excellence.
