กรมวิทยาศาสตร์บริการ จัดอบรมพัฒนาห้องปฏิบัติการชาและกาแฟ สถาบันชาและกาแฟ ตามมาตรฐาน DSS Recognized Laboratory
กรมวิทยาศาสตร์บริการ จัดโครงการฝึกอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ หลักสูตร “การพัฒนาห้องปฏิบัติการทดสอบตามมาตรฐาน DSS Recognized Laboratory” ครั้งที่ 1 ในหัวข้อ “การจัดทำเอกสารในระบบคุณภาพและการตรวจสอบความใช้ได้ของวิธีสำหรับการทดสอบหาปริมาณสารคาเทชินในชา” ระหว่างวันที่ 13 – 15 สิงหาคม 2568 ณ ห้องพวงชมพู-พู่ระหง อาคาร M-Square ชั้น 5 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จังหวัดเชียงราย โดยได้รับความอนุเคราะห์สถานที่จัดอบรมจากมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ซึ่งส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย สถาบันวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ทำหน้าที่เป็นผู้ประสานงาน
การอบรมดังกล่าวมุ่งยกระดับศักยภาพบุคลากรห้องปฏิบัติการ ผ่านกิจกรรมเชิงปฏิบัติการ (Workshop) ครอบคลุมเนื้อหาเกี่ยวกับข้อกำหนดทั่วไปและการจัดทำโครงสร้างระบบคุณภาพ การจัดทำเอกสารและบันทึกคุณภาพ การจัดทำมาตรฐานขั้นตอนปฏิบัติ (SOP) และการตรวจสอบความใช้ได้ของวิธี (Validation) สำหรับการทดสอบสารสำคัญในสมุนไพร โดยมีวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ได้แก่ นางสาวจันทร์เพ็ญ ใจธีรภาพกุล ข้าราชการบำนาญ และ นางจุฑาทิพย์ ลาภวิบูลย์สุข นักวิทยาศาสตร์ชำนาญการพิเศษ จากกรมวิทยาศาสตร์บริการ
ในโอกาสนี้ นายกานต์กุญช์ บำรุงชาติ หัวหน้าส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย สถาบันวิจัยและนวัตกรรม ได้กล่าวต้อนรับทีมที่ปรึกษาจากกรมวิทยาศาสตร์บริการ และแสดงความยินดีต่อความร่วมมือในการพัฒนาห้องปฏิบัติการด้านชาและกาแฟให้ก้าวสู่มาตรฐานสากล 
โครงการนี้เป็นส่วนหนึ่งของการพัฒนามาตรฐานห้องปฏิบัติการด้านชาและกาแฟ เพื่อสนับสนุนการวิจัย และยกระดับอุตสาหกรรมชาและกาแฟของประเทศไทย
สอดคล้องกับเป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (SDGs):

Department of Science Service Organizes Training to Develop Tea and Coffee Laboratory of the Tea and Coffee Institute to Meet DSS Recognized Laboratory Standards
The Department of Science Service organized the “Practical Training Course on the Development of Testing Laboratories in Compliance with DSS Recognized Laboratory Standards” (First Session) under the topic “Preparation of Quality System Documentation and Method Validation for the Determination of Catechins in Tea”. The training was held from 13–15 August 2025 at the Puang Chomphu–Phurahang Room, M-Square Building, 5th Floor, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai, with the venue graciously provided by Mae Fah Luang University, and the Research Administration Division, Research and Innovation Institute serving as the coordinator.
The training aimed to enhance the capacity of laboratory personnel through practical workshops covering general requirements and the establishment of a quality system structure, preparation of documents and quality records, development of Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and validation of testing methods for active compounds in herbal materials. The sessions were led by distinguished experts — Ms. Chanpen Chaitheerapapkul, retired government officer, and Ms. Jutathip Lapviboonsuk, Senior Professional Scientist from the Department of Science Service.
On this occasion, Mr. Karnkul Bumroongchad, Head of the Research Administration Division, delivered a welcome address to the advisory team from the Department of Science Service and expressed his appreciation for the collaboration in developing the tea and coffee laboratory towards international standards
This program is part of an ongoing effort to raise the standards of tea and coffee laboratories in Thailand, supporting research and strengthening the competitiveness of the country’s tea and coffee industry.
