ส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดโครงการอบรมเชิงปฏิบัติการเรื่อง “การตรวจประเมินความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการที่เกี่ยวกับสารเคมี” เมื่อวันศุกร์ที่ 23 มกราคม 2569 เวลา 08.30–16.30 น. ณ ห้องประชุมพวงชมพูและพู่ระหง ชั้น 5 อาคาร M-Square มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
กิจกรรมดังกล่าวได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุจิตรา วงศ์เกษมจิตต์ รองอธิการบดี มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด พร้อมด้วย คุณกานต์กุญช์ บำรุงชาติ หัวหน้าส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย กล่าวรายงานถึงวัตถุประสงค์ของการจัดอบรม ซึ่งมุ่งยกระดับมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการภายในมหาวิทยาลัย และเสริมสร้างศักยภาพของคณะกรรมการความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการ และคณะกรรมการผู้ตรวจประเมินความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ให้มีความรู้ ความเข้าใจ และทักษะที่จำเป็นในการตรวจประเมินห้องปฏิบัติการที่เกี่ยวข้องกับสารเคมีอย่างเป็นระบบและสอดคล้องตามมาตรฐานที่กำหนด
การอบรมได้รับเกียรติจาก คุณภัทรภร ธนะภาวริศ ข้าราชการบำนาญ กองบริหารและรับรองห้องปฏิบัติการ กรมวิทยาศาสตร์บริการ เป็นวิทยากรถ่ายทอดความรู้และประสบการณ์ตลอดการอบรม
เนื้อหาการอบรมแบ่งออกเป็น ภาคทฤษฎีและภาคปฏิบัติ โดยภาคทฤษฎีครอบคลุมหัวข้อสำคัญ ได้แก่
* ข้อกำหนดมาตรฐานความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการทั้ง 7 ด้าน
* หลักเกณฑ์ วิธีการ และเงื่อนไขของระบบการตรวจประเมินและรับรองห้องปฏิบัติการที่เกี่ยวกับสารเคมี
* แนวทางและเทคนิคการตรวจประเมินรับรองห้องปฏิบัติการตาม ESPReL Checklist
* เทคนิค ขั้นตอน และเอกสารที่ใช้ประกอบการตรวจประเมินความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการ
ในส่วนของ ภาคปฏิบัติ (Workshop) ผู้เข้าร่วมได้ฝึกปฏิบัติการตรวจประเมินความปลอดภัยในห้องปฏิบัติการจริง ณ ห้องปฏิบัติการควบคุมมาตรฐานวัตถุดิบสมุนไพร (ห้อง M3-303) ศูนย์นวัตกรรมสมุนไพรครบวงจร และ ห้องปฏิบัติการวิทยาศาสตร์การแพทย์ (ห้อง M3-535) ศูนย์เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี เพื่อเสริมสร้างความเข้าใจเชิงปฏิบัติในการประเมินสภาพแวดล้อม การสังเกตจุดเสี่ยง และการประยุกต์ใช้เกณฑ์การตรวจประเมินให้เหมาะสมกับบริบทของห้องปฏิบัติการแต่ละประเภท
การอบรมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวนทั้งสิ้น 28 คน ประกอบด้วยคณะกรรมการความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการ และคณะกรรมการผู้ตรวจประเมินความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง
การจัดกิจกรรมดังกล่าวสอดคล้องกับ เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) ได้แก่
SDG 3 สุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี : ส่งเสริมความปลอดภัยในการปฏิบัติงานของบุคลากรในห้องปฏิบัติการ
SDG 4 การศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ : พัฒนาความรู้และทักษะของบุคลากรและผู้ตรวจประเมินอย่างต่อเนื่อง
SDG 9 อุตสาหกรรม นวัตกรรม และโครงสร้างพื้นฐาน : ยกระดับมาตรฐานห้องปฏิบัติการและระบบความปลอดภัยให้มีคุณภาพ
การดำเนินงานดังกล่าวสะท้อนถึงความมุ่งมั่นของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงในการพัฒนาระบบบริหารจัดการความปลอดภัยของห้องปฏิบัติการให้เป็นไปตามมาตรฐานที่เกี่ยวข้อง สนับสนุนการดำเนินงานด้านการวิจัยและการเรียนการสอนอย่างมีคุณภาพและยั่งยืน 
The Research Administration Division, Mae Fah Luang University, organized a hands-on training course entitled “Laboratory Safety Assessment for Chemical Laboratories” on Friday, 23 January 2026, from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at Phuangchompoo and Phurahang Conference Rooms, 5th Floor, M-Square Building, Mae Fah Luang University.
The opening ceremony was presided over by Professor Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University, with Mr. Karnkul Bumroongchad, Head of the Research Administration Division, delivering the opening remarks and outlining the objectives of the training. The program aimed to enhance laboratory safety standards within the University and to strengthen the knowledge, understanding, and essential skills of the Mae Fah Luang University Laboratory Safety Committee and the Committee of Chemical Laboratory Safety Auditors in conducting systematic chemical laboratory safety assessments in compliance with relevant standards.
The training was honored by the presence of Ms. Pattaraporn Thanapawarit, a retired government officer from the Laboratory Administration and Accreditation Division, Department of Science Service, who served as the lecturer, sharing her expertise and professional experience throughout the program.
The training program consisted of both theoretical and practical sessions. The theoretical sessions covered key topics, including:
* The seven key elements of laboratory safety standards
* Principles, procedures, and requirements of chemical laboratory assessment and accreditation systems
* Guidelines and techniques for laboratory safety assessment based on the ESPReL Checklist
* Assessment techniques, procedures, and required documentation for laboratory safety audits
During the practical workshop, participants conducted hands-on laboratory safety assessments in actual laboratory settings, including the Laboratory for Quality Control of Herbal Raw Materials (Room M3-303), Medicinal Plant Innovation Centre, and the Medical Science Laboratory (Room M3-535), the Scientific and Technological Instruments Centre. This session enhanced participants’ practical understanding of workplace environment evaluation, hazard identification, and the application of assessment criteria appropriate to different types of laboratories.
The training was attended by a total of 28 participants, comprising members of the Mae Fah Luang University Laboratory Safety Committee and the Committee of Chemical Laboratory Safety Auditors.
The activity was aligned with the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly:
SDG 3: Good Health and Well-being – promoting safe working environments for laboratory personnel
SDG 4: Quality Education – continuously enhancing the knowledge and skills of personnel and auditors
SDG 9: Industry, Innovation, and Infrastructure – strengthening laboratory standards and safety infrastructure
This initiative reflects Mae Fah Luang University’s strong commitment to enhancing laboratory safety management systems in accordance with relevant standards and to supporting high-quality and sustainable research and educational activities.
