Mae Fah Luang University kicks off FMFC Global Training Programme 2026, celebrating project leaders driving international capacity building
Mae Fah Luang University, through its Research Administration Division, officially convened the first meeting of the taskforce for the FMFC Global Training Programme: Innovative Farmers, Traditional Medicine, Healthy Foods and Cosmetics on 30 March 2026 at Mae Fah Luang University. The meeting marked a significant milestone in advancing the university’s strategic vision to become a regional hub for research and innovation under the BCG (Bio-Circular-Green Economy) framework, while strengthening international collaboration across ASEAN and beyond
The programme comprises six intensive international training courses designed to enhance capacity building, knowledge transfer, and innovation in key areas including agriculture, traditional medicine, functional foods, and cosmetic science. The initiative also reflects the university’s commitment to its vision of being “a university of well-being and sustainable future (Well-Being and Sustainable Future)”.
The training programmes are scheduled to be conducted throughout July 2026, offering a series of hands-on, immersive learning experiences for international participants. Each course will be delivered in a workshop-based format combining lectures, laboratory practice, field visits, and industry-relevant applications. This concentrated training period is expected to transform Mae Fah Luang University into a vibrant international learning hub, welcoming participants from ASEAN and global partner networks to exchange knowledge, co-create innovations, and build long-term academic and professional collaborations.
On this occasion, Mae Fah Luang University extends its sincere congratulations to the distinguished project leaders whose proposals have been approved for implementation. These projects represent diverse yet interconnected domains of innovation, including:

Hands-On Mastery in Cosmetics
Each programme has been carefully designed to deliver both theoretical knowledge and hands-on training, targeting international participants and fostering practical applications that can be translated into real-world impact. The July 2026 training series will not only enhance participants’ technical competencies but also strengthen cross-cultural collaboration and regional capacity building in alignment with sustainable development goals.
In addition, the meeting established clear operational guidelines, including timelines for participant recruitment (16 April – 16 May 2026), development of promotional materials, and coordination with the International Affairs Division to ensure effective outreach to ASEAN and international partners
This initiative highlights Mae Fah Luang University’s proactive role in leveraging research excellence to address global challenges, enhance human capital, and create tangible societal impact through international collaboration.
