มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง (Mae Fah Luang University: MFU) ตอกย้ำศักยภาพการสร้างงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม หลังผลงานวิจัยที่ได้รับการถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยีและต่อยอดสู่ภาคธุรกิจ คว้า 2 รางวัลระดับประเทศ จากเวที 7 Innovation Awards 2026 ภายในงาน Thailand Synergy เพื่อ SMEs ไทยสู่ IDEs ประจำปี 2026 ซึ่งจัดขึ้นเมื่อวันที่ 24 กรกฎาคม 2569 ณ สถาบันการจัดการปัญญาภิวัฒน์ สะท้อนถึงความสำเร็จของมหาวิทยาลัยในการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้จากงานวิจัยสู่การสร้างนวัตกรรมที่ตอบโจทย์ภาคอุตสาหกรรมและภาคธุรกิจ พร้อมขับเคลื่อนวิสัยทัศน์ “Well-being and Sustainable Future” หรือ “ความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีและอนาคตที่ยั่งยืน” ผ่านวิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัย และนวัตกรรม

งาน Thailand Synergy เพื่อ SMEs ไทยสู่ IDEs ประจำปี 2026 ได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ยศชนัน วงศ์สวัสดิ์ รองนายกรัฐมนตรีและรัฐมนตรีว่าการกระทรวงการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรม (อว.) เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด พร้อมปาฐกถาพิเศษในหัวข้อ “Thailand Innovation Synergy: ผสานพลังวิจัย เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม ขับเคลื่อน SMEs ไทยสู่ IDEs” โดยมี ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ศุภชัย ปทุมนากุล ปลัดกระทรวง อว. นายก่อศักดิ์ ไชยรัศมีศักดิ์ ประธานกรรมการบริหาร บริษัท ซีพี ออลล์ จำกัด (มหาชน) คณะผู้บริหารกระทรวง อว. ผู้แทนจากหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน และสถาบันการศึกษาทั่วประเทศเข้าร่วมงาน

การจัดงานครั้งนี้เกิดจากความร่วมมือระหว่าง บริษัท ซีพี ออลล์ จำกัด (มหาชน) และ 10 องค์กรพันธมิตรสำคัญของประเทศ ได้แก่ สำนักงานสภานโยบายการอุดมศึกษา วิทยาศาสตร์ วิจัยและนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (สอวช.) สำนักงานพัฒนาวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยีแห่งชาติ (สวทช.) สำนักงานนวัตกรรมแห่งชาติ (องค์การมหาชน) (NIA) สำนักงานปลัดกระทรวง อว. สภาอุตสาหกรรมแห่งประเทศไทย หอการค้าไทยและสภาหอการค้าแห่งประเทศไทย ตลาดหลักทรัพย์แห่งประเทศไทย สมาคมธนาคารไทย สมาคมหน่วยบ่มเพาะธุรกิจและอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ไทย และสำนักงานส่งเสริมวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (สสว.) เพื่อร่วมกันผลักดันการใช้ประโยชน์จากงานวิจัย เทคโนโลยี และนวัตกรรม ยกระดับผู้ประกอบการไทยสู่ Innovation-Driven Enterprises (IDEs) หรือธุรกิจที่ขับเคลื่อนด้วยนวัตกรรม อันเป็นกลไกสำคัญในการเสริมสร้างขีดความสามารถในการแข่งขันของประเทศ

ในโอกาสดังกล่าว ผลงานที่ต่อยอดจากงานวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงได้รับ 2 รางวัลระดับประเทศ ได้แก่ Inventor Awards ด้านเศรษฐกิจ จากผลงาน VIV SKIN นวัตกรรมเครื่องสำอางจากขมิ้นชัน ของ บริษัท เอ็ม.วาย.อาร์ คอสเมติกส์ โซลูชั่น จำกัด ซึ่งเป็นผู้รับอนุญาตใช้สิทธิผลงานทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง โดยต่อยอดจากผลงานวิจัยของ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.นิสากร แซ่วัน และ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.มยุรี กัลยาวัฒนกุล พร้อมคณะ สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์เครื่องสำอาง ที่ได้พัฒนาสารสกัดจากขมิ้นชันและสารสกัดจากใบเหงือกปลาหมอดอกขาว จนสามารถพัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์เครื่องสำอางนวัตกรรมที่มีประสิทธิภาพ มีศักยภาพทางการตลาด และสร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มให้กับทรัพยากรชีวภาพของประเทศไทย

อีกหนึ่งรางวัล ได้แก่ Creator Awards ด้านเทคโนโลยี จากผลงาน KLORA เม็ดฟู่ยืดอายุดอกไม้ตัดดอก ของ บริษัท เควายเอ็น พาร์ทเนอร์ส แอนด์ โค จำกัด ซึ่งเป็น Startup ที่นำนวัตกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงไปต่อยอดสู่การดำเนินธุรกิจ โดยใช้ผลงานวิจัยของ ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.วิรงรอง ทองดีสุนทร สำนักวิชาอุตสาหกรรมเกษตร พัฒนาเป็นผลิตภัณฑ์ที่ช่วยยืดอายุการเก็บรักษาดอกไม้ตัดดอก เพิ่มคุณภาพผลผลิต ลดการสูญเสียหลังการเก็บเกี่ยว และสร้างโอกาสทางธุรกิจให้กับอุตสาหกรรมไม้ดอกของประเทศ

ความสำเร็จของทั้งสองผลงานสะท้อนให้เห็นว่า งานวิจัยของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงสามารถก้าวข้ามจากการสร้างองค์ความรู้ในห้องปฏิบัติการไปสู่การสร้างผลิตภัณฑ์และนวัตกรรมที่ตอบโจทย์ความต้องการของตลาด ผ่านกระบวนการบริหารจัดการทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา การถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี และความร่วมมือกับภาคเอกชน จนเกิดเป็นธุรกิจและผลิตภัณฑ์ที่สร้างมูลค่าเพิ่มทางเศรษฐกิจและประโยชน์ต่อสังคมได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

เบื้องหลังความสำเร็จดังกล่าวเกิดจากการดำเนินงานของ ส่วนจัดการทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาและนวัตกรรม (MFii) ซึ่งเป็นกลไกสำคัญของมหาวิทยาลัยในการคุ้มครองทรัพย์สินทางปัญญา ถ่ายทอดเทคโนโลยี อนุญาตให้ใช้สิทธิผลงานวิจัย (Licensing) สนับสนุนการสร้างธุรกิจฐานนวัตกรรม (Startup) และเชื่อมโยงความร่วมมือระหว่างนักวิจัยกับภาคอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อผลักดันองค์ความรู้จากมหาวิทยาลัยสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์ และสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อเศรษฐกิจและสังคมอย่างยั่งยืน

การได้รับ 2 รางวัลระดับประเทศจากเวที 7 Innovation Awards 2026 ในครั้งนี้ จึงเป็นอีกหนึ่งบทพิสูจน์ถึงศักยภาพของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงในการสร้างงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมที่สามารถนำไปใช้ประโยชน์ได้จริง ถ่ายทอดสู่ภาคธุรกิจได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ และร่วมขับเคลื่อนการพัฒนาเศรษฐกิจฐานนวัตกรรมของประเทศ สอดคล้องกับวิสัยทัศน์ “Well-being and Sustainable Future” ที่มุ่งสร้างความเป็นอยู่ที่ดีและอนาคตที่ยั่งยืนให้กับสังคมไทยและประชาคมโลก

Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) has reaffirmed its strength in producing research and innovation with clear commercial potential, after two research-based innovations that were transferred to industry and further developed into business won two national awards at the 7 Innovation Awards 2026, held during Thailand Synergy for Thai SMEs to IDEs on 24 July 2026 at Panyapiwat Institute of Management (PIM). This achievement reflects the University’s success in translating research into innovations that respond to industrial and business needs, while driving its vision of “Well-being and Sustainable Future” through science, research, and innovation.

The 2026 Thailand Synergy for Thai SMEs to IDEs event was presided over by Professor Dr. Yodchanan Wongsawat, Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation (MHESI), who also delivered a keynote address on “Thailand Innovation Synergy: Integrating Research, Technology, and Innovation to Drive Thai SMEs toward IDEs.” Professor Dr. Supachai Pathumnakul, Permanent Secretary of MHESI, Mr. Korsak Chairasmi’sak, Chairman of the Executive Committee of CP ALL Public Company Limited, together with executives from MHESI, representatives from the public and private sectors, and academic institutions nationwide, also attended the event.

The event was organized through collaboration between CP ALL Public Company Limited and 10 key national partners, namely the National Higher Education, Science, Research and Innovation Policy Council; the National Science and Technology Development Agency; the National Innovation Agency; the Office of the Permanent Secretary, MHESI; the Federation of Thai Industries; the Thai Chamber of Commerce and Board of Trade of Thailand; the Stock Exchange of Thailand; the Thai Bankers’ Association; the Thai Business Incubators and Science Parks Association; and the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion. The initiative aims to promote the practical use of research, technology, and innovation to elevate Thai enterprises into Innovation-Driven Enterprises (IDEs), thereby strengthening national competitiveness.

Among the recognized works, MFU received two national awards. The first was the Inventor Award in the economic category for VIV SKIN, a turmeric-based cosmetic innovation developed by M.Y.R. Cosmetics Solution Co., Ltd., a licensee of MFU intellectual property. The product was further developed from research by Associate Professor Dr. Nisakorn Saewan, Associate Professor Dr. Mayuree Kalyawattanaakul, and their team at the School of Cosmetic Science, who developed turmeric extract and white spider flower leaf extract into an innovative cosmetic product with strong efficacy, market potential, and added value for Thailand’s biological resources.

The second was the Creator Award in the technology category for KLORA, a cut-flower shelf-life extension effervescent tablet developed by KYN Partners & Co., Ltd., a startup that further transformed MFU innovation into a commercial business. Based on research by Assistant Professor Dr. Wirongrong Thongdeesuntorn from the School of Agro-Industry, the product helps extend the shelf life of cut flowers, improve product quality, reduce post-harvest losses, and create business opportunities for Thailand’s floriculture industry.

These achievements demonstrate that MFU research can move beyond the laboratory to become products and innovations that meet market demand through intellectual property management, technology transfer, and collaboration with the private sector, generating tangible economic value and social benefit.

MFU’s Intellectual Property and Innovation Management Division (MFii) plays a key role in protecting intellectual property, facilitating technology transfer, supporting licensing, nurturing startup creation, and connecting researchers with industry partners. Through these mechanisms, the University continues to advance the commercial utilization of research and create sustainable positive impacts on the economy and society.
