Research Administration of Mae Fah Luang University Congratulates Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siam Popluechai on Research Grant 
The Research Administration of Mae Fah Luang University extends its heartfelt congratulations to Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siam Phoplucheai, Director of the Scientific and Technological Instruments Center and Head of the Gut Microbiome Research Group at the School of Science, Mae Fah Luang University, on receiving a research grant from University of Saint Joseph, Macao (USJ), China. The grant is for the research project titled, "Comparative Analysis of Gut Microbiota of Laboratory-Raised, Captive, and Wild Caught Betta splendens Regan." 
This project aims to generate knowledge on the importance of microbiota to health, development, and behavior. It explores the impact of environmental factors on the microbiota and develops methods to potentially modify the behavior of pets by controlling their gut microbiota. This research is of significant importance in both the fields of science and health. 
We would like to congratulate Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siam Phoplucheai and the entire research team for their valuable contribution, which will benefit the advancement of science on a global scale.

ส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ขอแสดงความยินดีกับ รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สยาม ภพลือชัย ผู้อำนวยการศูนย์เครื่องมือวิทยาศาสตร์และเทคโนโลยี และหัวหน้า กลุ่มวิจัยจุลินทรีย์ในระบบทางเดินอาหาร สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ที่ได้รับทุนสนับสนุนงานวิจัยจาก University of Saint Joseph, Macao (USJ) ประเทศจีน ภายใต้โครงการวิจัย "ศึกษากลไกการสื่อสารระหว่างสมองและ Microbiota ในลำไส้ วิเคราะห์ผลกระทบของสิ่งแวดล้อมต่อ microbiota โดยเปรียบเทียบโปรไฟล์จุลินทรีย์ในปลากัดที่ถูกเลี้ยงในสภาพต่าง ๆ และศึกษาความเป็นไปได้ในการปรับเปลี่ยนพฤติกรรมของปลากัดผ่านการควบคุม Microbiota ในลำไส้" 
โครงการนี้มุ่งเน้นการสร้างองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับความสำคัญของ microbiota ต่อสุขภาพ การพัฒนา และพฤติกรรม โดยมีการศึกษาถึงผลกระทบของสิ่งแวดล้อมต่อ microbiota ในร่างกาย และการพัฒนาวิธีการปรับปรุงพฤติกรรมของสัตว์เลี้ยงผ่านการควบคุม microbiota ในลำไส้ ถือเป็นการค้นคว้าที่มีความสำคัญทั้งในด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และสุขภาพ
