คณะกรรมการ คกส. มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ศึกษาดูงานมาตรฐานด้านการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ณ มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร
ส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย สถาบันวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ร่วมกับ คณะกรรมการกำกับดูแลการดำเนินการต่อสัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ (คกส.) ได้จัดกิจกรรมศึกษาดูงานด้านการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ เมื่อวันพุธที่ 30 กรกฎาคม 2568 โดยมี รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. สยาม ภพลือชัย กรรมการและเลขานุการ เป็นผู้นำคณะ พร้อมด้วยคณะกรรมการและเจ้าหน้าที่รวม 7 คน เข้าร่วมศึกษาดูงานและแลกเปลี่ยนองค์ความรู้เกี่ยวกับ มาตรฐานด้านการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ ณ 
สถานสัตว์ทดลองเพื่อการวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยนเรศวร จังหวัดพิษณุโลก
โดยได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร. กรกนก อิงคนินันท์ รองอธิการบดีฝ่ายพัฒนางานวิจัยและนวัตกรรม กล่าวต้อนรับ พร้อมถ่ายภาพร่วมกันเป็นที่ระลึก 
จากนั้นได้มีการบรรยายหัวข้อ “การพิจารณารับรองโครงการที่ยื่นขอรับการรับรองจรรยาบรรณการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์” โดย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร. ภญ. รัตติมา จีนาพงษา และต่อด้วยหัวข้อ“การเลี้ยงสัตว์ทดลองตามมาตรฐานสากล” โดย ดร.สพ.ญ.วริศราภรณ์ แตงช้าง
ในช่วงบ่าย คณะผู้ศึกษาดูงานได้เยี่ยมชม อาคารสถานสัตว์ทดลองเพื่อการวิจัย และ อาคารศูนย์ปฏิบัติการวิจัยและทดสอบด้านความปลอดภัยในสัตว์ทดลอง เพื่อเรียนรู้กระบวนการดำเนินงานจริงตามมาตรฐาน
กิจกรรมในครั้งนี้มีวัตถุประสงค์เพื่อเพิ่มพูนความรู้ด้านจรรยาบรรณ การดำเนินงานตามมาตรฐานสากล และแนวทางการพิจารณาโครงการวิจัยที่ใช้สัตว์ทดลอง ซึ่งเป็นประโยชน์อย่างยิ่งต่อการพัฒนาระบบการดำเนินงานของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงให้มีความน่าเชื่อถือและยั่งยืนยิ่งขึ้น
The IACUC Committee of Mae Fah Luang University Conducts a Study Visit on Laboratory Animal Use Standards at Naresuan University
On Wednesday, July 30, 2025, the Research Administration Division, Institute of Research and Innovation, Mae Fah Luang University, in collaboration with the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC), organized a study visit focusing on the use of animals for scientific purposes. The visit was led by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Siam Popluechai, Committee and Secretary, along with seven committee and staff. The delegation participated in knowledge exchange activities focused on standards for the use of animals in scientific research at the Laboratory Animal Center, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok Province.
The visit began with a warm welcome by Prof. Dr. Kornkanok Ingkaninan, Vice President for Research and Innovation Development, who gave a welcome speech and took a commemorative photo together .
The morning session featured a presentation on “Ethical Review and Approval of Animal Use Protocols for Scientific Purposes” by Assoc. Prof. Dr. Rattima Jeenapongsa, followed by a talk on “International Standards in Laboratory Animal Care” by Dr. Warisraporn Tangchang, DVM.
In the afternoon, the delegation visited the Laboratory Animal Center and the Center for Safety Testing in Laboratory Animals to learn about real-world operations and standard practices.
This activity aimed to enhance understanding of ethics, international standards, and the review process of animal research proposals, which will greatly benefit the development of Mae Fah Luang University’s operational system to be more credible and sustainable.
