มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดอบรม “พระราชบัญญัติสัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ พ.ศ. 2558 และความปลอดภัยในการดูแลและการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์”
ส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย สถาบันวิจัยและนวัตกรรม มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จัดกิจกรรมอบรม เรื่อง “พระราชบัญญัติสัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ พ.ศ. 2558 และความปลอดภัยในการดูแลและการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์” เมื่อวันจันทร์ที่ 29 กันยายน 2568 เวลา 08.30–16.00 น. ณ ห้องประชุมคำมอกหลวง อาคาร M-Square ชั้น 5 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง จังหวัดเชียงราย
การอบรมครั้งนี้ได้รับเกียรติจาก ศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สุจิตรา วงศ์เกษมจิตต์ รองอธิการบดี และประธานคณะกรรมการกำกับดูแลการดำเนินการต่อสัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ (คกส.) มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เป็นประธานในพิธีเปิด พร้อมด้วย คุณกานต์กุญช์ บำรุงชาติ หัวหน้าส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย กล่าวรายงานถึงวัตถุประสงค์การจัดกิจกรรม เพื่อส่งเสริมความรู้ความเข้าใจเกี่ยวกับข้อกำหนดตามกฎหมาย แนวทางปฏิบัติด้านจริยธรรม และมาตรการความปลอดภัยในการใช้สัตว์เพื่องานวิจัย
โดยได้รับเกียรติจากวิทยากรผู้ทรงคุณวุฒิ ได้แก่
ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ นายสัตวแพทย์ ดร.สุวรรณเกียรติ สว่างคุณ – อาจารย์ประจำ คณะสัตวแพทยศาสตร์ จุฬาลงกรณ์มหาวิทยาลัย
นายสัตวแพทย์เชาเชฏฐฉ์ภาดา พุฒพิมพ์ – ศูนย์สัตว์ทดลอง สำนักงานบริหารงานวิจัยมหาวิทยาลัยเชียงใหม่
การอบรมครั้งนี้มีผู้เข้าร่วมจำนวน 36 คน ประกอบด้วยคณาจารย์ นักวิจัย นักศึกษาระดับบัณฑิตศึกษา เจ้าหน้าที่ผู้ปฏิบัติงาน และคณะกรรมการกำกับดูแลการดำเนินการต่อสัตว์เพื่องานทางวิทยาศาสตร์ (คกส.) เพื่อแลกเปลี่ยนความรู้ และประสบการณ์ อันจะนำไปสู่การดำเนินงานวิจัยที่สอดคล้องตามกฎหมายและมาตรฐานสากลอย่างมีจริยธรรมและปลอดภัย 
นอกจากนี้ กิจกรรมดังกล่าวยังสนับสนุน เป้าหมายการพัฒนาที่ยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs) 
SDG 3 สุขภาพและความเป็นอยู่ที่ดี (Good Health and Well-being) ผ่านการส่งเสริมการดูแลสัตว์ทดลองอย่างถูกต้องและปลอดภัย
SDG 4 การศึกษาที่มีคุณภาพ (Quality Education) ด้วยการให้ความรู้ที่ถูกต้องและทันสมัยแก่บุคลากร
SDG 15 การใช้ประโยชน์จากระบบนิเวศบนบกอย่างยั่งยืน (Life on Land) ผ่านการอนุรักษ์และใช้สัตว์ทดลองอย่างมีความรับผิดชอบ
Mae Fah Luang University Organizes Training on “The Animal for Scientific Purposes Act B.E. 2558 and Safety in Animal Care and Use for Scientific Purposes”
The Research Administration Division, Research and Innovation Institute of Mae Fah Luang University organized a training session on “The Animal for Scientific Purposes Act B.E. 2558 and Safety in Animal Care and Use for Scientific Purposes” on Monday, September 29, 2025, from 08:30 to 16:00, at Kham Mok Luang Conference Room, M-Square Building, 5th Floor, Mae Fah Luang University, Chiang Rai Province.
The event was honored by Professor Dr. Sujitra Wongkasemjit, Vice President of Mae Fah Luang University and Chair of Mae Fah Luang University Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee, who presided over the opening ceremony. Mr. Karnkul Bumroongchad, Head of the Research Administration Division, delivered the opening remarks, highlighting the objectives of the training — to promote understanding of legal requirements, ethical guidelines, and safety measures in the use of animals for research.
The training featured distinguished speakers:

Mr. Chaochetdhapada Putpim, Laboratory Animal Center, Chiang Mai University
A total of 36 participants attended the session, including lecturer, researchers, graduate students, staff, and members of the Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC). The program served as a platform for sharing knowledge and experiences, ultimately leading to research practices that align with legal requirements and international standards in an ethical and safe manner.
Furthermore, this training supported several United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) :
SDG 3 – Good Health and Well-being: by promoting proper and safe care of laboratory animals
SDG 4 – Quality Education: by providing accurate and up-to-date knowledge to personnel
SDG 15 – Life on Land: by encouraging the responsible and sustainable use of laboratory animals
