ส่วนบริหารงานวิจัย มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ขอแสดงความยินดีกับคณะนักวิจัยจาก ศูนย์วิจัยวัสดุนวัตกรรมเพื่อความยั่งยืน (Center of Innovative Materials for Sustainability: iMatS) สำนักวิชาวิทยาศาสตร์ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ที่สร้างชื่อเสียงให้กับประเทศไทยและมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ด้วยการคว้ารางวัล Gold Medal และ NRCT Honorable Mention Award จากการนำเสนอผลงานนวัตกรรมในงาน The 9th China (Shanghai) International Exhibition of Inventions (CSITF 2026) ณ นครเซี่ยงไฮ้ สาธารณรัฐประชาชนจีน ระหว่างวันที่ 11–13 มิถุนายน 2569

ผลงานที่ได้รับรางวัล

Low-Carbon Dual-Functional Thermal and Acoustic Insulation Panels from Agricultural Waste Pulp

(แผ่นฉนวนกันความร้อนและเสียงแบบสองฟังก์ชันคาร์บอนต่ำผลิตจากเยื่อเหลือใช้ทางการเกษตร)

คณะนักวิจัย รองศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณัฐกานต์ สร้อยกาบแก้ว ,ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.ณัฐยา ต๊ะวิไชย และผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.อุไรวรรณ อินต๊ะถา

ผลงานดังกล่าวเป็นนวัตกรรมวัสดุสีเขียวที่นำวัสดุเหลือใช้ทางการเกษตรมาเพิ่มมูลค่าเป็นแผ่นฉนวนประสิทธิภาพสูง สามารถทำหน้าที่ได้ทั้งการป้องกันความร้อนและการดูดซับเสียง ช่วยลดการปล่อยก๊าซเรือนกระจก ลดการเผาวัสดุเหลือทิ้งทางการเกษตร และส่งเสริมการใช้ทรัพยากรอย่างคุ้มค่า สอดคล้องกับแนวคิดเศรษฐกิจหมุนเวียน (Circular Economy) และเป้าหมายการพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน (Sustainable Development Goals: SDGs)

นอกจากการได้รับ เหรียญทอง (Gold Medal) จากคณะกรรมการตัดสินนานาชาติแล้ว ผลงานยังได้รับ NRCT Honorable Mention Award จากสำนักงานการวิจัยแห่งชาติ (วช.) เพื่อยกย่องผลงานวิจัยและนวัตกรรมไทยที่มีศักยภาพโดดเด่น สามารถต่อยอดสู่การใช้ประโยชน์ในระดับอุตสาหกรรมและสร้างผลกระทบเชิงบวกต่อเศรษฐกิจ สังคม และสิ่งแวดล้อม

ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงศักยภาพด้านการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงในการพัฒนาองค์ความรู้และเทคโนโลยีที่ตอบโจทย์การพัฒนาอย่างยั่งยืน ตลอดจนแสดงให้เห็นถึงความมุ่งมั่นของคณะนักวิจัยในการยกระดับผลงานวิจัยสู่เวทีนานาชาติ สร้างการยอมรับในระดับสากล และนำผลงานวิจัยไทยไปสู่การใช้ประโยชน์อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

The Research Administration Division of Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) extends its heartiest congratulations to the research team from the Center of Innovative Materials for Sustainability (iMatS), School of Science, Mae Fah Luang University. The team has brought great pride to Thailand and MFU by winning the Gold Medal and the NRCT Honorable Mention Award at The 9th China (Shanghai) International Exhibition of Inventions (CSITF 2026), held in Shanghai, People's Republic of China, from June 11–13, 2026.

• Project Title: Low-Carbon Dual-Functional Thermal and Acoustic Insulation Panels from Agricultural Waste Pulp * Research Team: Associate Professor Dr. Nattakan Soykeabkaew, Assistant Professor Dr. Nattaya Tawichai, and Assistant Professor Dr. Uraiwan Intatha.

Key Features of the Innovation

This award-winning project is a green material innovation that upcycles agricultural waste into high-performance insulation panels. Featuring a dual-function design, the panels provide both thermal insulation and sound absorption. This innovation effectively helps reduce greenhouse gas emissions, curtails agricultural open burning, and promotes efficient resource utilization—fully aligning with the Circular Economy concept and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).

In addition to receiving the prestigious Gold Medal from the international judging committee, the project was honored with the NRCT Honorable Mention Award by the National Research Council of Thailand (NRCT). This special accolade recognizes outstanding Thai research and innovations with high potential for industrial scalability and positive economic, social, and environmental impacts.
