MFii ต้อนรับ สสว. เยี่ยมชมอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคเหนือ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ศึกษาศักยภาพมหาวิทยาลัยในการยกระดับและพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการ SME

เมื่อวันที่ 15 กันยายน 2569 มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ให้การต้อนรับผู้บริหารและคณะ จากสำนักงานส่งเสริมวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (สสว.) นำโดย นายวชิระ แก้วกอ รองผู้อำนวยการสำนักงาน และทีมงานส่วนนโยบายและแผน สสว. ในโอกาสเดินทางมาเยี่ยมชมอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคเหนือ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เพื่อศึกษาภารกิจ บทบาท ระบบการให้บริการ ตลอดจนศักยภาพของมหาวิทยาลัยในการสนับสนุน ยกระดับ และพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการวิสาหกิจขนาดกลางและขนาดย่อม (SME) ผ่านองค์ความรู้ งานวิจัย เทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม นักวิจัย และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และนวัตกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัย

ในการนี้ นายกานต์กุญช์ บำรุงชาติ หัวหน้าส่วนบริการงานวิจัย รักษาการแทนหัวหน้าส่วนจัดการทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาและนวัตกรรม พร้อมด้วย ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.สิทธิ ดวงเพชร รองผู้อำนวยการโครงการอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคเหนือ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง ผู้ช่วยศาสตราจารย์ ดร.พันธ์สิริ สุทธิลักษณ์ ผู้จัดการคลินิกเทคโนโลยีเครือข่ายมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง และบุคลากรที่เกี่ยวข้อง ร่วมให้การต้อนรับคณะ สสว. พร้อมนำเสนอภาพรวมศักยภาพของมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงในการสนับสนุนการพัฒนาผู้ประกอบการ โดยครอบคลุมทั้งองค์ความรู้จากนักวิจัยและผู้เชี่ยวชาญ งานวิจัยและเทคโนโลยี ห้องปฏิบัติการ โครงสร้างพื้นฐานด้านวิทยาศาสตร์และนวัตกรรม ตลอดจนกลไกการให้บริการและการเชื่อมโยงองค์ความรู้สู่ภาคธุรกิจ

นอกจากนี้ ยังได้มีการแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลระหว่าง สสว. และมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวงเกี่ยวกับโจทย์และความต้องการของผู้ประกอบการ SME ตลอดจนแนวทางการนำศักยภาพของมหาวิทยาลัยมาใช้สนับสนุนการพัฒนาธุรกิจให้ตรงกับความต้องการของภาคธุรกิจมากยิ่งขึ้น รวมถึงการเชื่อมโยงผู้ประกอบการกับผู้เชี่ยวชาญ แหล่งทุน เทคโนโลยี และเครือข่ายทางธุรกิจที่เกี่ยวข้อง เพื่อเพิ่มโอกาสในการพัฒนาธุรกิจและต่อยอดสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์

จากนั้น คณะ สสว. ได้เยี่ยมชมโครงสร้างพื้นฐานและพื้นที่ให้บริการด้านการวิจัยและนวัตกรรมของมหาวิทยาลัย ได้แก่ Cosmetic Makerspace, Cosmetic Lab, Food Makerspace, โรงงานต้นแบบเครื่องสำอาง และโรงงานผลิตยาสมุนไพร พร้อมรับฟังข้อมูลเกี่ยวกับศักยภาพและขอบเขตการให้บริการของแต่ละพื้นที่ ซึ่งมีความพร้อมในการรองรับการวิจัยและพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์ การพัฒนาสูตร การสร้างต้นแบบ การทดลองและทดสอบ รวมถึงการพัฒนาผลิตภัณฑ์เพื่อเตรียมความพร้อมสู่ตลาด โดยเฉพาะผู้ประกอบการในกลุ่มอุตสาหกรรมเครื่องสำอาง สมุนไพร อาหาร และการแปรรูปผลผลิตทางการเกษตร

การเยี่ยมชมและแลกเปลี่ยนข้อมูลในครั้งนี้ นับเป็นโอกาสสำคัญในการสร้างและขยายเครือข่ายความร่วมมือระหว่าง สสว. และมหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง เพื่อเชื่อมโยงกลไกการส่งเสริมและพัฒนา SME ของภาครัฐเข้ากับองค์ความรู้ งานวิจัย เทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานของมหาวิทยาลัย อันจะช่วยเพิ่มโอกาสให้ผู้ประกอบการสามารถเข้าถึงทรัพยากร ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ และบริการสนับสนุนที่เหมาะสมกับความต้องการของธุรกิจได้อย่างเป็นรูปธรรม

ทั้งนี้ มหาวิทยาลัยแม่ฟ้าหลวง โดยอุทยานวิทยาศาสตร์ภาคเหนือ และส่วนจัดการทรัพย์สินทางปัญญาและนวัตกรรม (MFii) มุ่งพัฒนากลไกการเชื่อมโยงมหาวิทยาลัยสู่ภาคธุรกิจอย่างต่อเนื่อง พร้อมสร้างเครือข่ายความร่วมมือกับหน่วยงานภาครัฐ ภาคเอกชน สถาบันการศึกษา และภาคอุตสาหกรรม เพื่อสนับสนุนผู้ประกอบการ SME ให้สามารถเข้าถึงองค์ความรู้ ผู้เชี่ยวชาญ งานวิจัย เทคโนโลยี นวัตกรรม ห้องปฏิบัติการ และโครงสร้างพื้นฐานที่จำเป็นต่อการพัฒนาธุรกิจ ตลอดจนยกระดับผลิตภัณฑ์และกระบวนการดำเนินงาน และต่อยอดสู่การใช้ประโยชน์เชิงพาณิชย์

On 15 September 2026, Mae Fah Luang University (MFU) welcomed executives and a delegation from the Office of Small and Medium Enterprises Promotion (OSMEP), led by Mr. Wachira Kaewkor, Deputy Director General of OSMEP, along with members of the SME Policy and Planning Department. The visit aimed to explore the Northern Science Park at MFU and learn about the university’s mission, service systems, and capacity to support, upgrade, and develop SMEs through knowledge, research, technology, innovation, researchers, and scientific and innovation infrastructure.

During the visit, Mr. Kantakun Bumroongchad, Head of Research Administration Division and Acting Head of the Intellectual Property and Innovation Management Division (MFii), together with Asst. Prof. Dr.Sitthi Duangphet, Deputy Director of the Northern Science Park Project, MFU; Asst. Prof. Dr. Phunsiri Suthiluk, Manager of the MFU Technology Clinic Network; and relevant staff, received the OSMEP delegation. They presented an overview of MFU’s capabilities in supporting entrepreneur development, covering expert knowledge from researchers and specialists, research and technology, laboratories, scientific and innovation infrastructure, as well as service mechanisms and the linkage of academic expertise to the business sector.

The two sides also exchanged information on SME entrepreneurs’ challenges and needs, and discussed how the university’s strengths could be applied to support business development in ways that better match market demands. This included connecting entrepreneurs with experts, funding sources, technologies, and relevant business networks to increase opportunities for business growth and commercialisation.

Following the discussions, the OSMEP delegation toured the university’s research and innovation service facilities, including the Cosmetic Makerspace, Cosmetic Lab, Food Makerspace, the Cosmetic Pilot Plant, and the MFU Herbal Medicine Laboratory. Staff provided insights into the capabilities and scope of services offered at each site, which are ready to support product research and development, formulation work, prototyping, testing, and product development in preparation for market entry—especially for entrepreneurs in the cosmetics, herbal products, food, and agricultural processing industries.

This visit and information exchange marked an important opportunity to build and expand collaboration between OSMEP and Mae Fah Luang University. By linking government mechanisms for SME promotion and development with the university’s knowledge, research, technology, innovation, and infrastructure, the partnership aims to help entrepreneurs more concretely access the resources, experts, and support services that best fit their business needs.

Through the Northern Science Park and the Intellectual Property and Innovation Management Division (MFii), Mae Fah Luang University continues to develop mechanisms that connect the university with the business sector. The university is also building cooperation networks with government agencies, the private sector, educational institutions, and industry to help SME entrepreneurs access the knowledge, experts, research, technology, innovation, laboratories, and essential infrastructure needed to develop their businesses, enhance their products and processes, and move towards commercial impact.
